Prime Time Sports is a sports talk show on the radio aired and produced from FAN 590 studios and lead and hosted by Bob McCown in Toronto, Ontario. Firstly, the said talk show was broadcasted and aired last October 2, 1989 being a sports talk show, starting from the time from 6:10pm to 7:00pm Eastern standard time (EST) with the host named Bob McCown, and the co-host which is Bill Watters.

After how many years, Jim Hunt, the newspaper columnist became and replaced Bill Watters as a co-host. After three years, the said show became a huge hit and became famous during an afternoon sports talk show when CJCL switched the format to all-sports radio. Unfortunately, after a year, Bob McCown was assigned to a morning show as the host while Dan Shulman replaced his position as a host in Prime Time Sports which surprised a lot of people, who regularly watched the show every night.

In 2004, the said show was simulcasted and aired on television. After 5 years of struggles and perseverance, the said sports talk show had finally reached the 3 hours duration with the time from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. During this year, co-hosting duties are usually provided every week which will be Stephen Brunt or from John Shannon, before, a vice-president production and programming in the NHL, he also was the overall ambassador of Tim and Sid, a Fan590 program.

After everything that the show went through together with the persons involved to the success of Prime Time Sports; on February 2011,the ever-first host from the said sports talk show, Bob McCown rejoined with Damien Cox from the Toronto Star company; sharing their jobs as hosts and their work together with Stephen Brunt.Afer all that wonderful event and memorable situations, the said show was returned, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
